Iolanda's friends
Project made between jobs - It took a while to be done, but it was very fun testing with new tools, textures, and methods. This specific piece was much like a "puppet" in which I did experiments: I painted it to relax in my spare time while making custom brushes and using a lot of unusual functions in Photoshop. Yet, I tried to keep it cohesive as an illustration.
It had been a while since anyone had visited the gazebo, maybe a couple years had passed since the last visitor came there. She thought the cherubs residing there could use some company and care, so Iolanda decided to craft handmade headpieces for them!

Thumbnails. It was a very early exploration. I made it before I even decided on Iolanda's Character Design (that's why in some of the thumbnails the girl has legs!).
3D base - Learning Blender 3D to improve my illustrations. A very simple model, but useful!
